Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium was established by the Bangalore City Corporation. It is currently administered by the Bangalore Association for Science Education (BASE) and is devoted to popularising science as well as non-formal science education.

Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium has everything from a sky-theatre, a monthly space movies programme, exhibition halls with interactive displays, a science park, a travelling space exhibition for schools, planetarium clubs, special lectures, and workshops for children.

Lalbagh Flower Show August 2024-"Blooming Marvels/Lalbagh's Independence...

Lalbagh Botanical Gardens in Bangalore. It opens every day at 6 in the morning and closes at 7 at night. The best time to go are early morning and late afternoon when less people are there. In the early mornings many joggers and walkers use the gardens until about 8 or 9 o’clock.

The flower show at Lalbagh is colourful and beautiful and not to be missed. The Flower Show at Lalbagh is held twice a year on the occasion of Republic Day and Independence Day.

The theme for the show is “Life & Times of Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar”.
